The Western Premier Shield games start tonight! It's the first night of the first weekend of our inaugural year! Join us!
The Shield was established as a collaboration of talent throughout Saskatchewan. We hope (and expect) to gain more teams next year but began this year on a more intimate level. Next year we expect to have a SAS All Star team as well as a team(s) from SYS's Alliance.
The intention of the Shield is to offer an opportunity for U of S Huskies Alumni and off-season Huskies to play among like-minded and like-skilled players. Often, we see our local players leave during the summer to play elsewhere. We would love to see our SK grown talent stay here to play. The Shield is that opportunity. To host the veteran talent while also offering a place for the next up-and-coming SK talent. Bridging our abilities, ages and organizations. Together.
All games will take place at Griffiths Stadium. No admission. Everyone is welcome.
