Outdoor Rules Updated

Saskatoon Adult Soccer Rules and Regulations are reviewed on a continual basis, and potentially amended at the beginning of each season.

For the Outdoor 2020 Mini-League Season please be aware of the following rule changes:

  • Players may now use Canadian Government Issued photo ID in the event they do not have a player ID card. We still recommend the use of Player ID cards but will allow Canadian Government Issued Photo ID. (I.e.: Provincial Driver's License or Canadian Passport are acceptable. Student ID cards, Health Cards are NOT acceptable.) The player's name must match the name registered on the roster.

  • Individual players can register on only ONE team.

  • No Permits outside your bubble.

  • No Player Transfer (As per Provincial Guidelines, Mini-League 'bubbles' need to remain together)

  • Slide-tackling is PROHIBITED in ALL Mini-League games. A yellow card will be issued for slide-tackling.

  • No Offside.

  • Roster Limit of 12.

  • Kick-ins instead of Throw-ins (to avoid handling the ball).

  • No Playoffs.

  • No Reschedule requests.

  • No handshakes.

  • The Schedule A (Suspensions Schedule) has been updated.
