Please note that each team contact will need to create a profile to be able to register a team. You will use that same profile/email address to register as a player, as well as for future SAS tournaments and seasons registrations.

The 2023 Outdoor season will be played from May 5 - August 26.

FORMAT
Men's/Women's/Masters Men/Masters Women - 11v11 full field format with 45-minute halves
Coed/Coed Masters/Legends Coed - 9v9 half field format with 25-minutes halves in the Saskatoon Sports Centre
Legends Men/Women - 11v11 full field format with 35-minute halves
LEAGUE START DATE
The approximate start date for the 2023 Outdoor season is Friday, May 5.
Not all leagues will start on this date.

PLAYOFFS
Playoffs will be held for the Men’s, Women’s, Masters Men and Masters Women’s leagues only.
We will not host Playoff Finals on the weekend this year.
The roster limit is 25 players, and teams may dress 25 players each game.
FIELDS
All leagues except Coed and Coed Masters will play throughout City grass fields and at the turf fields at the Saskatoon Sports Centre - both inside and out.
Coed, Coed Masters and Coed Legends will play all their games inside the Saskatoon Sports Centre on turf.
TEAM FEES
Men's/Women's/Masters Men/Women Total = $3560
Instalment schedule: At the time of registration: $1560, May 31 $2000 These leagues play 16 games with 11v11 format on full field with 45-minute halves.
Coed/Coed Masters/Coed Legends Total = $1720
Instalment schedule: At the time of registration: $720, May 31 $1000 These leagues play 10 games with 9v9 format on half field with 25-minute halves.
Legends Men/Women Total = $2310
Instalment schedule: At the time of registration: $810, May 31 $1500 These leagues play 12 games with 11v11 format on full field with 35-minute halves.
New Team Bond: $200 All new teams must submit an additional $200 with their league fees. This will be refunded at the end of the season if the team is in good standing and no penalties are applicable.
TEAM WITHDRAWAL PENALTIES
Penalties will not be charged to teams that withdraw their registration by the registration deadline. The following schedule of penalties will be in effect if a team withdraws from the SAS League after the registration deadline:
1 - 2 calendar days after the registration deadline: $100 fine 3 - 7 calendar days after the registration deadline: $500 fine 8 - 21 calendar days after the registration deadline: 50% of Total Fees* 22 - 28 calendar days after the registration deadline: 75% of Total Fees* 29 calendar days or more after the registration deadline: 100% of Total Fees*
* If not all instalments or full team fees were originally paid, the outstanding fees will be disbursed among the players listed on the roster and include the team contact if they are not a player. Participants will be blacklisted until payment is received. The Individual Player Registration fee will not be refunded.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Team Fees can be paid by credit card through RAMP when you register your team. We cannot accept Team Fees by credit or debit in the office or over the phone.
We also accept cash, but we no longer accept cheques for team fees. (Cheques may be given as deposit for Equipment Box Keys, or cash.)
Please include your team’s name in the notes of the e-transfer.
We no longer accept e-transfers for Individual Player Registration fees.
RAMP ONLINE PAYMENTS
We accept payment via credit card through RAMP. You can either pay in full at the time of registration or by two instalments.
Note: If you pay via credit card for your 1st instalment, RAMP stores the information and will automatically apply the 2nd instalment to your credit card. Please contact us if you do not want the 2nd instalment to be automatically paid via credit.
RAMP ONLINE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Registration is completed through RAMP. An account must be created to register a team. We cannot register your team for you.
Incomplete entries are not accepted. Registrations must have all the required forms filled out, include full payment of the initial instalment (and bond when applicable), and be submitted before the registration deadline to avoid late registration penalties.
You will receive a confirmation email of your registration. Be sure to watch for the confirmation registration email.

ALIGNMENT APPEALS
Teams may appeal the Initial Alignment placement of their team. Initial Alignment is posted our website on Friday, March 31.
Deadline to appeal is Monday, April 3 at 5:00pm.
Late appeals will not be considered.
The Final Alignmentwill be release by Thursday, April 6.
Saskatoon Adult Soccer has the right to place any team in any division they deem appropriate and may do so at any time.
Appealing your alignment does not guarantee a change to your placement.
Teams are not guaranteed entry to the league with payment or registration submission.
ALIGNMENT & REGISTRATION RULE UPDATES
Teams may be promoted or relegated as required.

Competitive Divisions are the top divisions of each league except Legends. Legends remains Recreational even at the top level.
Teams may not be promoted to the Competitive divisions without consent of the team.

EQUIPMENT BOX KEYS
Teams are required to pick up at least one key for the outdoor session and return it at the end of the season.
Games will be forfeit in the absence of a key being picked up by the team by the specified date. Games will resume upon the key being picked up.
A deposit is required when the key is picked up. Deposits can be given by way of cash or cheques payable to Saskatoon Adult Soccer posted for September 1 of the same year.
The deposit for the key will be deposited if not returned at the end of the season.
You must provide accurate email addresses for team contacts. If you have not received any emails from our office by the time Initial Alignment is released, then you need to contact SAS to make sure that the correct email address is being used.
