SOCCER CENTRE RULES AND REMINDERS

Sep. 26, 2025

The Saskatoon Sports Centre and Saskatoon Kinmen / Henk Ruys Soccer Centre have served our soccer community for over 20 years. We are very proud of these facilities, and our soccer family for making them a reality. To learn about the history, please visit Our (SAS/SSC/SYS) Centres and Fields page.

Our two centres are managed by Saskatoon Soccer Centre Inc (SSC). The SSC staff strive to ensure that all facility users have a positive and safe experience. To achieve this goal, we ask that all participants (players, coaches, officials, spectators) follow the Soccer Centre rules for both facilities:

FIELD OF PLAY

  • Only clean footwear on the fields / No Outdoor footwear / No metal cleats

  • Spectators view from the designated viewing areas upstairs / No spectators by field of play

  • No food, sunflower seeds or gum on the fields

  • Only water bottles with water are allowed on the benches and fields

  • No outside food or drink are permitted

  • No changing on the fields or in the common areas

  • Spitting is prohibited throughout the facilities. On the field, players will be cautioned with a Red Card and removed from the game. The Red Card, in this instance alone, is for the visual understanding. The player is permitted to play the following game.

CHANGE ROOMS

  • No drinking, smoking or vaping is permitted in the change rooms

  • Change rooms should be left tidy

SPECTATORS

  • Spectators can enjoy the game from the comfort of the upstairs lounge or viewing mezzanines.

  • Spectators should be respectful of all players and officials.

  • Spectators can be removed from the facility for inappropriate behaviour, violence, abuse, heckling, offensive language or gestures.

  • Teams are responsible for their supporter’s behaviour.

ZERO TOLERANCE

  • There is zero tolerance for violence, abuse, offensive language or gestures on the SSC premises.

  • Participation is a privilege, not a right.

PARKING

  • Parking is permitted in specific areas. Follow signage.

  • Do not park in staff parking whether it is day or night, weekday or weekend.

THANK YOU

Your cooperation makes visiting the soccer centres a pleasant and safe environment for everyone!
