Player ID Cards

Players are required to have photo ID at every game in order to be allowed to play.

The 2 forms of photo ID must be present:

1. Saskatoon Adult Soccer Player ID Card

2. Canadian* Government issued photo ID.

UNACCEPTABLE

Pictures on your phone of your ID.

OBTAINING SAS PLAYER CARD 

Players may purchase a Saskatoon Adult Soccer Player ID card in two ways:

OPTION 1 | IN-PERSON

Visit us at the Saskatoon Adult Soccer offices during business hours.   

REQUIRED: 

1. Government Issued Photo ID

2. $20 Cash OR E-transfer to info@saskatoonadultsoccer.com with Registered Player Name

A headshot will be taken at the office.

OPTION 2 | ONLINE

Please click here to complete the Player ID Request Form.

REQUIRED:

1. A picture of your Government Issued Photo ID  - any official Government ID.

2. $20 E-transfer to info@saskatoonadultsoccer.com with Registered Player Name

3. A .JPG image of the headshot you wish to be placed on your Player Card.

Please expect photo ID cards a minimum of 3 - 5 business days to complete from having received the request.

We will contact you once the player ID card is ready to be picked up.

SECONDARY FORMS OF ID

We reserve the right to review all official Government supplied photo ID but reserve the right to request a different form of ID.

GAME TIME | PERMITTED PHOTO ID

At a game, only Canadian Issued Photo ID can be used to verify your identity or an SAS player card.

EXTRAS | SUMMARY

• You must have your Government Issued Photo ID or Player ID card present in order to play in a game.

• We still recommend obtaining a Player ID card even though we accept Government issued Photo ID at games. That way it can just stay in your soccer bag, and less significant if it goes missing.

• A picture of your Player ID Card on your phone is not an accepted form of ID.

• Photo ID/ID Cards are presented to the referee before the start of every game.

• Player ID cards no longer expire. Please ignore the expiry date if your card is that old.

• Player ID cards must be legible and still look like you. If your appearance has changed or the player ID card is worn out, the referees will not allow you to play. A new card is required.

• A new card is required if your name has changed. Your registered name and the name on your player ID card must correspond to each other.

• If you were recently married, and your surname changed, you can get a new Player ID card with your new surname at NO CHARGE. You just need to provide us with your old card and a piece of updated Government Issued Photo ID.

• We no longer provide Exemption Letters because we will accept Government Issued Photo IDs for you to play.
