The procedure for games on rainy days or thunderstorms are the following:
Weekday Games (Monday - Friday)
If cancelled, we will announce at 4pm on the website. (An email will be sent as well but because some players are unsubscribed or emails go to junk folders, everyone should watch the site to be sure.)
Some fields may be cancelled and others not. It will depend where your game is scheduled. Some fields have better drainage than others, and not always does the entire city get rained on.
If there isn't an announcement, it is Ref’s Discretion. For these occasions, the teams/players do need to show up and produce their Player I.D. cards. That way, if the fields are in good form, you can play. If teams/players don’t show up, it will be considered a forfeit.
Lightning will also be called at the Ref’s discretion. Similar to the rain, some areas of the City may experience lightning, and others not. So, again, teams/players need to show up to their game.
Weekend Games (Saturday and Sunday)
For weekend games, it is all Ref’s discretion. Therefore, you will need to show up at the field and the Ref will determine if the game can be played.
Again, please check the Feature News on our site at 4pm Monday - Friday to see if games are cancelled.
If there isn't a "Games Cancelled" announcement, games are on!
